Overview

Steady ("we," "our," or "us") is a GLP-1 medication companion app that helps you track your weight, injections, nutrition, and wellness journey. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what we collect and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Steady iOS app and the steadydose.app website. By using Steady, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information

→Email address, when you create an account via email/password or Sign in with Apple

→Apple-provided anonymous user identifier, when using Sign in with Apple

Health and wellness data you choose to log

→Weight logs (date and weight)

→Injection logs (date, medication, dose, injection site, notes, side effects)

→Food diary entries (food name, serving size, macronutrients, meal type)

→Daily check-ins (food noise, energy, and mood ratings; side effects; notes)

→Body measurements (waist, hips, chest, arms, thighs)

→Non-scale victories (title, category, notes)

→Medication supply/vial tracking

→Profile settings (name, medication type, weight goals, injection schedule)

Apple HealthKit (iOS app only, optional)

→If you grant permission, we may read or write weight data to Apple Health. HealthKit data is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to operate and improve Steady:

→To display your logged data back to you in the app and on the web dashboard

→To sync your data across your devices (iOS app ↔ steadydose.app)

→To generate personal insights, trends, and charts within your account

→To enable data export (CSV download) for your own use

→To send transactional communications, such as account verification emails

We do not use your health data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone other than the infrastructure providers listed below.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (supabase.com), a hosted database platform. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Supabase servers are located in the United States.

Row-level security policies ensure that each user can only access their own data. We do not have access to your Apple Sign In credentials. Passwords for email accounts are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Third-Party Services

Steady uses the following third-party services to operate:

→Vercel — web hosting for steadydose.app. Vercel Privacy Policy

→Google AdMob — advertising (free tier of the iOS app only). AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and usage data to serve relevant ads. If you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, this identifier may be used for personalized advertising across apps. Premium subscribers do not see ads. Google Privacy Policy

We do not sell your personal data or share your health information with any third party.

Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

→Access — You can view all of your logged data at any time in the app or on the web dashboard.

→Export — You can download a complete CSV export of all your data from the Export page on the web dashboard.

→Delete — You can delete individual entries at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it within 30 days.

→Opt out of sync — The web sync feature requires an account. If you prefer not to sync, you can use the iOS app without creating an account; your data will stay on-device only.

Children's Privacy

Steady is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Steady after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
